Track keywords your way — pay only for the crawls you actually need
You decide how deep and how often we crawl. 1 credit = 1 keyword, 1 crawl. Want the full top 100 every day? Do it. Only need the top 30, once a week? Even better — that costs you a fraction of the credits. Full control, no wasted budget.
What is Rank Monitor's keyword tracking?
A fully configurable SERP tracker: pick the crawl depth and frequency per keyword and pay only in credits — no fixed keyword caps.
- 1 credit = 1 keyword crawled 1 time — full transparency
- Configure depth per keyword: top 10, top 30, top 50 or full top 100
- Configure frequency per keyword: daily, every 3 days, weekly or monthly
- Unlimited keywords, unlimited projects — credits are the only limit
Advantages of credit-based tracking
You stop paying for depth and frequency you don't need. Track thousands of long-tail keywords cheaply, and reserve deep daily crawls for the terms that matter.
- Pay only for what you actually crawl
- Optional deep top-100 tracking when you need it
- Add annotations to correlate on-page changes with movements
- Google updates plotted automatically on every chart
A self-learning system, powered by AI
Every Rank Monitor view is paired with AI suggestions. We score what's working, flag what isn't, and tell you exactly what to fix next — so the platform gets smarter with every annotation you make.
- AI recommends the ideal crawl depth and frequency per keyword based on volatility and value.
- AI suggests internal links from your 5 strongest pages to lift a keyword by ~3 positions.
- Google update detected: AI maps which clusters gained or lost, and what to do next.
- Every annotation feeds the model — the platform gets smarter with every change you ship.
FAQ
How does credit-based keyword tracking work?+
Every crawl costs 1 credit: one keyword, tracked one time. You choose the depth (top 10, 30, 50 or full 100) and the frequency (daily, every few days, weekly or monthly) per keyword. That means you decide exactly how many credits each keyword consumes.
Do I get the top 100 by default?+
No. Top-100 tracking is optional. By default you can pick something efficient like top 10 or top 30 for most keywords and only enable full top-100 crawls on the strategic terms where competitor depth really matters.
Can I mix depths and frequencies inside one project?+
Yes. A typical setup: money keywords daily at top 100, secondary keywords weekly at top 30, long-tail monthly at top 10. Rank Monitor spends credits accordingly — no hidden caps.
How many keywords can I track?+
There is no keyword limit. Websites and projects are unlimited too. Your credit budget is the only ceiling, and you fully control how fast it's spent.
Why is adding annotations smart?+
Annotations pin the moment you launch a technical fix, content update or link campaign — so you can compare rankings before and after that date. Our AI uses these annotations to learn which actions actually move the needle on your site.
When do I see the first impact of a Google update?+
Because Google updates are plotted automatically on every chart, first effects appear on the next crawl after Google confirms the update — usually within 24–48 hours for keywords tracked daily.
Do AI features also use credits?+
Yes. Credits power both crawls and AI tasks (AI suggestions, AI content, AI overviews). One credit pool, one budget — you decide where it goes.
